Was a tad dehydrated and tired this morning, but I surprised myself.
I was so goddamn hungry that for a moment, hunger took over the fear.
Started off with some bread and honey... and then I grabbed a banana, expecting to only eat half of it.
I ate ALL of it.
No gagging. Nada. I ate it all. I could not stop myself.
After a while waiting to see if it was clear, I figured that if I had to throw up, I probably would've done so way sooner, so I made myself my usual cup of plain black tea. It passed nicely.
It's honestly good to be able to eat. Mom was right after all.
At lunch I had some corn and decided to give ham a try. Figured, again, that I would eat a small piece...
...wound up eating the whole slice of it. Corn isn't exactly my thing so I left a lot of it, but the ham! And I even had a piece of chocolate after, which is probably one of the harder things to digest.
Maybe I shouldn't be so careful about food.
Spent most of the day doing my stuff and resting. Had a couple cookies with tea in the afternoon. Went to the convenience store not far from my home for mint candies. Had to go twice because on the first try, it was still closed. Later on, walked the cats a little, but I started tiring out in the middle of it, so I led them home.
Had one moment when I seriously got tired though: had to go fetch my winter clothes in the attic, and since I had just come back from walking the cats, I had to lay down for a good twenty to twenty-five minutes to regain enough strength to go take a shower.
But after that, I was mostly fine. Hungry as shit, but fine. I ate soup carefully and while I could've technically had more ham... I preferred to play it safe and leave it to the cats.
Tomorrow maybe I'll eat more. But I can already tell the difference in energy. Plus, my bowels haven't been screaming. I think I'm good to go, though still with a lot of rest?
My symptoms started last Friday after all. I didn't mention it on the blog but coming back from walking two kilometers in, two kilometers out of the grocery store (though that might've been the day I washed my car? I can't remember), I was pretty tired. Figured it was normal, I had a pretty stressful previous day, and I hadn't slept well.
But the night that followed, I had the weirdest dreams within dreams that I've had in a while. I remember that for some reason I had a bed in the kitchen, there was something with a teddy bear... it was just so weird, and at some moment I was kissing one unnamed girl from my dance class, and... it was dragging on. I was pulling her face close to mine so slow, and I touched her lips... and then I woke up, or I thought I woke up, I was doing so with Hopoe as normally as possible, and I don't exactly remember when I actually opened my eyes, but I was feeling really, really hot. Sweaty.
Thought it was my still-burning hot water bottle, but I sleep routinely with one and I never sweat like that unless room temp is a bit too high.
Thing is, it was kind of warm, yes, but not warm enough that it would make sleeping with the bottle uncomfortable...
Might've been a bit of fever there. It's the dreams.
When you're little you get those weird shape/hair/dust dreams that are in black and white... you probably know what I'm talking about... when you're grown up, you get some absurd dreamception with your goddamn bed in the kitchen, and kissing some random girl you see at dance class and somehow it's harder than dragging your ass out of bed.
But the good news is, I haven't had such dreams after. Not even in the last nights.
