There’s always something particular about stumbling across a person’s blog.
You may or may not know them, especially if you’ve never seen a picture of them. They could be anywhere in the world, sporting any outfit, thinking anything and singing whatever song. But they’re here, very real, especially in those times we live in when the Dead Internet Theory appears to at least be closer and closer to the moment it’s not exactly a fringe conspiracy theory anymore.
But anyway. I’m an individual from somewhere around the world.
All you have to know about me is that I’m female, born late 1999, residing in France. Endometriosis and adenomyosis sufferer. A survivor two suicide attempts and many, many years of ideation prior to that. Gifted, especially verbally. Always been in love with language, expression is vital to me or else I go mad.
I may or may not have ties to the Pacific... or ambiguously so... In fact, is it that important? I will not deliver. That's the whole point of it.
Hi’iaka is the goddess of hula, sorcery, chant, and medicine. A kapua, a lesser god basically, and one of Pele’s favourite sisters, if not her favourite of all. Conceived in Tahiti and brought inside an egg to Hawaii. The subject of many legends that sometimes contradict each other... choose which one you like.
